Cannabis edibles can be really hit-or-miss. My pet peeves, besides inconsistent dosing, include difficult to divide doses and overbearing cannabis taste. Natural Cannabis Company’s House Chocolates ($6 – 2 pieces) avoided all these problems.
First, the packaging is adorable. I really appreciate style and presentation in products, food included. The two pieces of chocolate are housed in an attractive box and even the chocolates themselves have stylish edible printing. An attractive look and affordable price would make the House Chocolates great little stocking stuffers, additions to a gift basket or little add-on gifts.
Each piece of chocolate is approximately one dose. I was surprised when I bit into it, expecting a solid chocolate piece, delighting to find a rich chocolate truffle center. It tasted of delicious dark chocolate and little else. The taste of cannabis was barely noticeable, if at all.
After about an hour or so, I began to feel the effects. On one dose, I would describe the feelings as a “good buzz.” I have a high tolerance for medical marijuana, so one dose would probably be sufficient for an average consumer. I felt a little light-headed and dreamy, mellow and relaxed. I didn’t feel impaired, like I couldn’t (or shouldn’t) make decisions. I’d recommend the House Chocolates for times when you want or need be smoke-free and desire a low-to-medium medication level.
Summary: Great little product for smoke-free cannabis consumption, providing low-to-moderate medication. The cute packaging, stylish design and affordable price make Natural Cannabis Company House Chocolates perfect for gifting.
